Complete the template

Step 1: Complete the template. Make sure you create a script with the sentences you will be recording. Think about what kind of icon you want to include with each sentence. Your template must be approved by your teacher before you get the iPad and start the recording process.

1. 
   Press the “voice” icon on the iPad

   Press Create a new story
   
3. 
   Give your story a title (ex. How Can I Help? Or What is My Role?)
   
4. 
   Press next
   
5. 
   Select “Make Up My Own” by pressing “pick this one”
   
6. 
   Hold down the record button (orange microphone) to record your first sentence.
   
7. 
   Press the play button (arrow on the left side of the screen) to listen to your recording. If you want to re-record your sentence hold down the microphone button again and record it again.
   
8. 
   Once you are happy with your recording press the plus sign in the middle of the rectangle.
   
9. 
   Press on icon (the star) NOT PHOTO.
   
10. 
    Type the kind of icon that you want to look for (ex. Tree, planet, earth, friend)
    
11. 
    Press on the icon that you want to use.
    
12. 
    Press the plus sign at the bottom right corner of the screen to move onto the next sentence.
    
13. 
    Repeat the same process for all 8 sentences.
    
14. 
    Press the play button (arrow) at the bottom left of the screen to view your completed film.
    
15. 
    If you want to make changes select “Keep editing” and re-record any clips you want to or change the icon.

   If you are happy with your video select “Share”

   Press the arrow at the bottom right of the screen and select “Save to Camera Roll”

   Allow the iPad to access your photos

   Once the video has been saved to the library press “Done” on the orange bar

   Press the home button (round button) at the bottom of the iPad
   
6. 
   Find the “Photos” icon. It is a white square with a multi-coloured flower.

   Select “Camera Roll”
   
8. 
   Select your video.
   
9. 
   Press on the box at the bottom with the arrow pointing up.
   
10. 
    Select Facebook.
    
11. 
    When it tells you there is no account set up select “settings”
    
12. 
    Sign in with the email tiffanysenglishclassroom@gmail.com Password: accessenglish
    
13. 
    Choose to not install the Facebook app.
    
14. 
    When it asks for details write the title of your video.
    
15. 
    Press post.

   Press the home button at the top right of the screen to return to the home screen of Adobe Voice

   Press on the settings wheel at the top right corner.

   Select “Account”

   Select “Sign Out”

   Return to the iPad home screen

   Select the “settings” icon
   
7. 
   Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars

   Select Gmail
   
9. 
   Press “Delete Account”
   
10. 
    Select Delete
    
11. 
    Return the iPad to the cart and plug it into the charger.
