| - - TD 109 (WP 1/16) Draft new ITU-T H.222.0 (2012) | ISO/IEC 13818-1:2013 Amd.3 Information technology – Generic coding of moving pictures and associated audio information: Systems: Transport of HEVC video over MPEG-2 systems NOTE FOR THE AAP REVIEWER In accordance with Resolutions 2.1.1 taken at the 105th SC 29/WG 11 meeting, 2013-07-29/08-02, Vienna, Austria, the SC 29 Secretariat submitted the text (ISO/IEC 13818-1:2013/FDAM 3) to the ITTF for FDAM ballot (with this step, the text can be published on the ISO/IEC side). Hence, the text in this document is submitted to the consideration of ITU-T Study Group 16 for initiation of the AAP process. AAP Summary This amendment specifies the transport of HEVC bit-streams over MPEG-2 Transport Streams as defined in Rec ITU-T H.222.0 (2012) | ISO/IEC 13818-1:2013. This amendment does not include extensions for carriage of HEVC in program streams. New stream types are specified to allow for the identification of Elementary Streams containing HEVC as a video codec. HEVC specific descriptors are added to signal HEVC specific properties such as profile and level. The amendment supports layered transport in case that the HEVC bitstream contains more than one temporal sub-layer. _________________ Download 30 Kb. Share with your friends:
