Arvind Motors Introduction – 1954 launched the dealership for TATA, by The Aroor family business which was started in the year 1929 by the late Aroor Laxminarayana Rao with a fleet of 6 buses. Today Arvind Motors has consolidated itself into a well-diversified automotive enterprise, with an extensive network of more than 20 branches spread across Karnataka. They were dealers for all Tata products till 2001 and then only commercial vehicle dealer.Took service dealership of Tata cars under Arvind Automobiles at Shimoga and was running under Arvind Motors till March 2016.At present the areas of business include the sister concern of M/s. Mandovi Motors, dealers for Maruti Udyog Ltd., and M/s. Supreme Auto Dealers, dealers for Bajaj Auto Ltd.
Responsibilities
Sales activities planning & execution, checking vehicle sales process for continuous improvement of vehicle sales and market share.
Ensure timely supply of vehicles by building trust and relationship with TATA sales heads
Managing accurate & quality prospect base, by ensuring the team managed the sales process in time to maintain CPSC scores
Managing Inventory in efficient manner to ensure reduced cost of holding stock.
Constant review of services process effectiveness, customer concerns and ensuring high levels of customer experience.
Improvement of competence of manpower & infrastructure with co-ordination of Tata Motors.
Training to service staffs, group discussions over Root Cause Analysis to reduce customer concerns and improve the CEI scores.
Appoint and train the staff in co-ordination with HR team and also to plan the HR activities at branch to maintain harmony and co-operation among the staffs.
Managing service marketing activities for building insurance business, corporate customers etc. with Tata programs like Tata Zippy, Tata Delight and Tata Kavach.
Close tacking and improvement of Branch Sales, parts and Labour revenue and implement actions to enhance the sales.
Constant review of the accounting process and systems of the branch for maintaining efficient cash position. Maintaining both creditors and debtors account to plan for the max cash utilisation. Other general administration and seeing continuous profit of the centre.
Maintaining all Legal matters pertaining to Govt. authorities like PCB, Labour dept etc.
Achievements
Tenure at Karwar office: Increased the sales of vehicle from 20 numbers to 240 numbers in three years.
Tenure at Shimoga office: Achieved a record of 100 vehicles sale in one month .And sale of highest ever number achieved during the year.
Shimoga branch was upgraded from C grade to a grade in WAR within a span of one year and maintained the same for all these five years.
2010 & 2011 increasing sale of lubes from 6 KL to 13 KL for continuously two years at IOCL dealership at Karwar.
2014-15 had best TATA ZIP selling award for the branch.
2014-15 and 2015-16 Shimoga office: Achieved the record of CEI awards by outscoring Bengaluru and Mangalore Branches.
2016 Shimoga office: Awarded for attending more post warranty vehicles.

Introductions – The Ghatge Patil Transports started in 1958 with 4 trucks, by Sri Vasanth Rao Ghatge and Jayakumar Patil. It has diversified its business and the group consist of Ghatge Patil Industries, Ghatge Patil Automobiles and Mohan travels.
