14th Annual Metro Atlanta High School Exhibit Co-Sponsored by the High Museum of Art and Georgia Art Education Association Dates of Show: May 7 – July 18, 2013 Exhibition Celebration: May 19, 2013; 12:00-1:30 PM *Certificates, Door Prizes and Ticket for High Museum will be presented at reception* Where: The Greene Family Education Center at the High Museum of Art Participants: All current GAEA members teaching high school students in the Metro Atlanta area. *You must be a current GAEA member or your students’ work will be ineligible for the exhibit. Number of Entries: (2) two student artworks per art teacher. You may submit (two) two-dimensional original artworks; not to exceed 18in.x24in.(matted), on paper only including drawing, painting, photography, collage, mixed media, and printmaking. DO NOT SUBMIT WORK THAT WILL BE NEEDED FOR AP PORTFOLIOS OR OTHER EXHIBITS! All art work will remain in the exhibit until July 18, 2013 Matting Instructions: Only white mat may be used! Do not attach a backing (no foam core or cardboard). NO framed art or stretched canvases will be accepted. Erase all smudges, fingerprints, etc. from the artwork and mat board. Work submitted must be exhibit ready. Important: Attach a completed entry form to the back of each artwork. (Provided below) Email or Fax your inventory list to Renée Gaither by Thursday April 25, 2013 (see page 2) Work must be mailed or delivered to Renée Gaither April 22-April 25, 2013. No work will be accepted after April 25, 2013. Work will be delivered to the High Museum on Friday April 26, 2013 Questions?
