This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (Hubzone, 8(a), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Veteran Owned Small Business or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) relative to NAICS 811219 (Size Standard $7 million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered responses to any potential solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs VHA Network 15 Contracting Office is seeking information concerning possible sources to provide Monthly Preventative Maintenance on the Toshiba America Medical Imaging System, Toshiba Ultrasound Imaging System S/N 99B0752547, Model Aplio XG Radiology Ultrasound System. The Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. equipment is located at the Colmery-O’Neil VA Medical Center, 2200 SW Gage Blvd Topeka, KS 66622. Any prospective contractors must be authorized /certified to provide the required maintenance of this equipment from the manufacturer and must show proof with any provided documents. A specific list of equipment for each location and address of location will be provided if requested. The VA intends to award a contract to a qualified organization to provide these services for approximately the period of time of 12/01/2013 thru 11/30/2014 base year, with four follow-on option years. A Request for Quotes will be posted on FebBizOpps after the VA concludes its market research to the availability of possible sources. These services are currently being provided by expiring contract VA255-P-0891. All interested firms shall provide the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, capability statement, business size and socio-economic classification.
