It was announced that web master Dean Hooker will be putting on a demonstration of the clubs new web site at the December meeting. The site is constantly growing and is experiencing amazing activity with currently over 1300 hits per week. Members are using the site more and more to look at scheduled charter dates and book them early before they fill up.
As discussed at the last meeting the Pastime Princess has gone out of business and the club is looking for a replacement charter. Steve Newman and Mo Davison researched 4 boats in the Atlantic and 5 boats in the Gulf of Mexico. Information sheets were distributed at the meeting which are also on the web site. Members were asked to study them and rate them in order they would be interested in trying out. Members were reminded that once a boat or boats are selected discussions will need to be held with Captains to see if they will be willing to work within the club guidelines? Members were also asked to give feedback if they had any personal experience with any of these boats. All will be discussed at the December meeting.
Due to the loss of the Pastime the club schedule 2 trips with the Thunder in November on the 9th and 17th.

Additionally Jim Scheer has dates for February, March, and April of 2017 for Captain Clay Shidler with Hang Um High Charters. This charter books months in advance and sells out quickly so members were advised to sign up before the end of the year for these trips! Info on the web site.
