  • Leadership and supervision of all instructional units consistent with the vision/mission statement, and the institutional goals and objectives of the Department of Technology.

  • Oversees orderly growth, development and continuous improvement of the curriculum.

  • Plans and evaluates annually the personnel and programs of the instructional units of the college.

  • Identifies alternative instructional delivery systems including Internet courses and other methods of distance learning.

  • Provides effective leadership in areas of instruction and training for Engineering and Technology.

  • Demonstrates an effective level of creativity and flexibility (thinks outside the box).

  • Provides orientation to new faculty members and instructional staff to the programs and philosophy of the Don Salvador Araneta and St. La Salle.

  • Promotes academic integrity and creates an effective teaching and learning environment.

  • Coordinates the preparation of the department’s catalogue, Lagumlalang (Researches), and the college calendar.

  • Prepares the department’s class schedule.

  • Perform programming function in software and web applications development, and support through programming and maintenance to ensure quality software.

  • Reviews and studies existing systems and procedures.

  • Train production user of the system.

  • Conduct system test and evaluation.

  • Back-up system administrator.

  • Handles system installation and problems of different workstations.

  • Perform other duties assigned from time to time.

Grading System (STARS-Student Academic Record and Information System)

  • The Grading System is used as a repository of grades of the College department, where faculty could upload, view and print the grades of the subject they handled. Likewise, the student can view their grades using the internet (web portal), where the database is connected to the web portal of the school. The Registrar has also access to the grading system, they are given privilege to manipulate some records to ensure integrity of data, they also provide student with reports such as: Semestral grade, summary of grades, Form IX and TOR.


Other Payments

  • This system was used as part of the accounting system to record all payment transactions of the university such as paying the ID card, books and etc.


Other Payments v2(Offline)

  • The system is designed for standalone computer so that clients can do payments to the cashier when the server is down and later upload the transactions made when the server is online.

HSD(Hardware Specification Detector)

  • This is an inventory system that monitors the computer part and peripherals assigned to all departments inside the university.

  • It generates different reports and it also monitors the expiration date of each item inside the database.


Web Portal(1st Ver)

  • This system is used in internet so that student may view their profile and grades without going to the school.


DLSAU ARCHIVE SYSTEM


CLEARANCE SYSTEM

  • This system is used to record deficiency made by the student/faculty or other details which will prevent him from accomplishing his clearance.

  • This system can monitor the student/faculty if he/she is cleared or not.


DLSAU-FAS(De La Salle Araneta University - Fund Accounting System)

  • This system is a conversion of the DOS based version of the accounting system of La Salle Manila.


Automated Teaching Load

  • The system assigns faculty for each subject in the enrollment system database and generate Teaching Load report of each faculty in different department.

  • The system can also monitor the status of the subject(Number of student), can also detect conflict of schedules and etc.


Voting System (for CSC-SSC)

  • The system can retrieve information from the enrollment system for bonafied student who can vote. The voter can elect by selecting the picture of the running candidate.

  • Only admin can upload candidate info and generate result report.

  • The system can run in network environment for simultaneous usage.


Check System

  • This System is a part of the Accounting System that create check voucher or checks of university


Internet Monitoring System

  • This System is a reservation for internet access. It monitors the remaining hours left, the printing privilege left and provides reports.
