Distortion models on digital image sensors are analyzed and restoration algorithms are studied. For this purpose, starting from the optical system, CCD and CMOS sensor structures and their principles are studied. Course continues with image registration, geometric image transforms, blur types and deblurring. In addition, iterative restoration algorithms like IBP and POCS, frequency domain restoration algorithms, super-resolution and adaptive filtering techniques are investigated
