Working on a model-driven approach which would enable system developers to create a configurable and composable middleware system based on pattern-based building blocks. We envision that the developer would also be able to fine-tune this system for specific QoS requirements by configuring the system options at a human-perceivable level of abstraction. Also working on modeling the system workload so that the system designer would be able to evaluate the performance of each configuration of the composed system at design time.
Also experimented with different specialization tools like AspectC++ for specialization of Middleware framework like ACE.
