Cavender”?) a son age 9 and born in Nebraska about 1871; J. Cavener (“J. Cavender”?) a son age 7 and born in Nebraska about 1873; M. Cavener (“M. Cavender”?) a son age 5 and born in Nebraska about 1875; O. Cavener (“O. Cavender”?) a son age 3 and born in Nebraska about 1877; and, N. Cavener (“N. Cavender”?) a daughter age 5 months and born in Nebraska about 1880. Also living in the same household was James Grounsell age 56 and born in England about 1824 and whose parents were both born in England.

Robert Cavender was living in Township 12, York County, Nebraska and was listed as then being age 45 and born in Indiana about 1835 and his father was born in Maryland and his mother was born in Ireland. E. Cavender age 5 and born in Tennessee about 1875; Ida F. Cavender ("Ida Cavender" & “I.F. Cavender”) age 3 and born in Tennessee about 1877; and, John O. Cavender ("John Cavender" & “J.O. Cavender”) age 1 and born in Tennessee about 1879. (It is to be noted that both E. A. Cavender and his wife apparently both died shortly after 1880 and their son Walter Cavender was raised by friends by the name of J. W. Overby and his wife. Walter Cavender was found July 28, 1938 apparently accidentally shot by a gun he was carrying).122

Cavener (N.E. Cavender”?), a daughter, age 12 and born in Tennessee about 1868; S.S. Cavener (“S.S. Cavender”?), a son, age 8 and born in Tennessee about 1872; M.M. Cavener (“M.M.
