Answer
The 1100 series and 1200 series heritage Nortel endpoints (including the 1120, 1140, 1165, 1220 and 1230) are supported running SIP version 4.4 on a Session Manager. The stations register as endpoints that do not revive AST (Avaya SIP Telephony) services, so they are restricted to the basic SIP feature set, and do not support advanced Communication Manager features (bridged appearance, hotline, intercom, etc.). The attached document includes a side-by-side comparison of the feature sets for reference.
