Elevator Pitch Concise Summary: Proposed project name is Poverty Incheck.We hope to address Nigeria lack culture of waste separation. Which Anambra State where the initiative is meant to find solution to plastic waste that is used to landfilling, litter the environment and river and sea pollution is not an exception. What if - Inspiration: What if plastics waste collection can be a solution to poverty in the community. About Your Project Problem: What problem is this project trying to address? The project will address poverty using plastic waste collected from the environment and plastic materials used in the house hood. I came from part of the world where poverty have lead productive age to engage to all manner of social vises such as kidnapping, robbery etc. Also we witness law abiding citizens live below US $1 Dollar on daily bases. Many do not earn US $ 1 Dollar in3 to 4 weeks while there live in mercy of relations who get worried. Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific! Poverty InCheck initiative will provide source of income to the unemployed youths of my State through the proceeds gotten from the plastics waste management in form of wages and salaries. Poverty In check will partner with individuals, local andinternational private entity in achieve a poverty free in life’s community through plastic waste management and control in the environment.Project Management professionals will be employed to help in the implementation stage. There will be interaction medium with the residents aim at carrying them along on the activities of collective and control of the plastic wastes management in making sure of a successful project .Adequate announcement will be made in social media,-television stations, radio stations,national newspapers, etc. to assemble the targeted group of society. Have plan of making my mentors our partner of this noble initiatives in the future. Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Individuals and communities have started buying into the idea .Minimization to eradication in the life’s of the targeted individual of the community planned for. The projected future impact will suppress the social vises or the community which is as the results poverty. Through the project Anambra State will have the culture of waste separation according to types and sources of waste . It will serve as source of income to the planned for. Plastics materials finding itself in the River after then to Sea will be reduced. Full impact potential: What are the main spread strategies moving forward? Risk of believe that it will be a wake over project will never be bought. It is a task to accomplished using all the needed and necessary apparatus. There should be proper awareness and introduction of the project to the citizens and the Government.When all the needed supports are given by the organizer and the mentors to the task, then we all believe that the ready of the goal of the project will be good news. Looking that what we have we will be only then given a time of the actualization of the project. But we believe it is a continuous project. Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability? The financial solution plan sustainability will be jointly achieved with all interest private companies and all level of government agencies. They will support in supply of materials need in collection and convening the collected plastics wastes. Financial support will be used in the payment of the conveners and driver of the trucks and other convening means. Marketplace: Who else is addressing the same problem? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches? Non like this initiative exist in Anambra State Nigeria. The beauty of this initiative is that it is meant to separate the plastic waste from the house hood in a separate collection bin. As it is done in developed countries. 6. team . Founding Story: As an undergraduate student I remembered the comment made by one of father’s former apprentice on a visit to his family. As he return from the day activities he said that he heard a foreigner in previous right national news that the people of Nigeria do not see the money and wealth in every street and water drainage in Nigeria. I remember I asked to explain to me what he understandsfrom the comment made by the foreigner. He simply put it this way that poverty could leave in divided that will try to harness the waste in our environment to wealth. This brought about the initiate we have now.
