Event Information The Board of Directors of Voice Today, along with its Founder, Mrs. Angela Williams, extend this special invitation to participate as a Sponsor in an extraordinary event, “The VOICE Legacy Ball”. This event will coincide with the 5th Anniversary of VOICE Today that was founded in 2008. The Legacy Ball is a black-tie charity event benefitting VOICE Today. VOICE Today is a non-profit organization breaking the silence and cycle of child sexual abuse through awareness, prevention and healing programs. Our children are our Legacy and giving them a VOICE against child sexual abuse by protecting their innocence is the greatest gift we can give. The event will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery, 199 Armour Drive, Atlanta, Georgia. From seven o’clock in the evening until just before midnight. You will enjoy dancing, dinner, entertainment and a silent auction to benefit VOICE Today and its many awareness, prevention & healing programs offered year round to the community, survivors and their families. Participation Options You can participate as a sponsor, donate an auction item and/or join us for the event…the choice is yours! Please partner with VOICE Today to make the world a safer place for children and a healing place for survivors. “Let your Legacy be a VOICE for all children.” Sponsorship options range from $500 - $25,000. The Beneficiary VOICE Today, Inc. is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization breaking the silence and cycle of child sexual abuse through awareness, educational and healing programs. As a leader and innovator, VOICE Today delivers child sexual abuse prevention workshops and healing programs for survivors. Child Sexual Abuse is a silent epidemic; the Centers for Disease Control statistics state:
VOICE Today holds numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences training adults on the importance of protection and prevention. We have worked with hundreds of parents, educators, churches, youth organizations, and state agencies. VOICE Today also conducts multiple conferences each year to provide much needed information and support for survivors and their loved ones. Healing and emotional restoration from childhood sexual abuse begins when we wipe out the silence. VOICE Today has Public Service Announcements and a powerful public awareness advertising campaign ready to implement and distribute as funding is generated.
