FAULT TOLERANCE FAULT TOLERANT COMPUTING Fault Tolerant Computing – Is defined as the ability to execute specific algorithm correctly regardless of hardware failures, total system failures or program fallacies.
Fault tolerant computing system is a system that has the built-in capability to preserve the continued correct execution of it's program and input and output functions in the presence of certain operational fault which is unspecified change in the value of one or more logic variables in a hardware system.
It can also be defined as the continuation of system functions after the occurrence of an error with data integrity.
