September 2 Monday, Building closed in observance of Labor Day September 25 Wednesday, half day of school, regular classes scheduled The School Year building schedule starts September 16, 2013 The building closes at 6pm Tuesday and Friday Open Saturday 9am to 3pm October 9 Wednesday, half day of school, regular classes scheduled October 14 Monday, Columbus Day, no school day, child care is open, no regular children’s swim classes, no evening swim programs, building closes at 6 pm. October 19 Saturday, Bizarre Bazaar, no programming for Brigham Center or Elizabeth Freemen Center Visitation October 23 Wednesday, half day of school, regular classes scheduled November 5 Tuesday, no school day, child care is open, no regular children’s swim classes, building closes at 6pm. November 11 Monday, Veteran’s Day, no school day, child care is open, no regular children’s swim classes, no evening swim programs, building closes at 6 pm November 15 Friday, half day of school for elementary only, regular classes scheduled November 27 Wednesday, no school day, child care is open, no regular children’s swim classes, no evening swim programs, building closes at 6 pm November 28 Thursday, Building Closed in observance of Thanksgiving November 29 Friday, Building Closed November 30 Saturday, Building Closed December 22 - January 5 - Pool closed for annual maintenance. There will be no swim programs/classes during this period. December 23 to December 31 the building is open for child care. December 24 Tuesday, no school day, child care is open, building closes at 6 pm. December 25 Wednesday, Building Closed in observance of Christmas day December 28 Saturday, Building Closed, School Vacation Week January 1, 2014 Wednesday, Building closed in observance of New Year’s Day January 4 Saturday, Building Closed, School Vacation Week On January 6, 2014 all swim programs to resume. January 8 Wednesday, half day of school, child care is open, regular classes will be held January 20 Monday, Martin Luther King Day, no school day, child care is open, no regular children’s swim classes, no evening swim programs, building closes at 6 pm. January 29 Wednesday, half day of school, child care is open, regular classes will be held February 12 Wednesday, half day of school, child care is open, regular classes will be held February 17 - 20 Monday to Thursday, School Vacation Week, no school days, child care is open, no regular children’s swim classes will be held, adult evening programs will be held. February 21 Friday, Building Closed, Staff Development Day, no child or adult swim programs. All child care programs are closed, please make alternative arrangements for this date. February 22 Saturday, Building Closed, School Vacation Week April 9 Wednesday, half day of school, child care is open, regular classes will be held April 18 Friday, no school day, child care is open, no regular children’s swim classes, building closes at 6pm. April 21 to 25 Monday to Friday, School Vacation Week, no school days, child care is open, no regular children’s swim classes will be held, adult evening programs will be held. April 26 Saturday, Building Closed, School Vacation Week May 21 Wednesday, half day of school, child care is open, regular classes will be held May 24 Saturday, Building Closed, Holiday Weekend May 26 Monday, Building Closed, in Observance of Memorial Day June 27 Friday, Building Closed, Staff Development Day, no child or adult swim programs. All child care programs are closed, please make alternative arrangements for this date. ***Planning Ahead*** DEEC Mandated Staff Training Days will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 and Friday, June 27, 2014. Staff must report to work for training. The agency will be closed for programming. Please make alternative child care arrangements.
