Many thanks to all our worldwide family and friends for your congratulations and kind wishes. We were overwhelmed by the number of messages. Thanks to Covid, our Golden Wedding was a low-key affair and we had to cancel our planned family weekend at Europa Park. However, the family laid on a superb afternoon with champagne, cakes and coffee, the table adorned by golden balloons. In the evening, we had the Italian restaurant to ourselves (again thanks to Covid) and the proprietor serenaded the (still) happy couple on his guitar.
