Tiebreaker for 2012-13 Here is the tiebreaker for seeding for the 2012-13 Tournament Winning percentage head-to-head Conference Wins Goal differential in head-to-head contests Goals allowed in head-to-head contests Winning percentage head-to-head against teams seeded 1 thru 12, staring with the #1 seed. Goal differential in games against teams seeded 1 thru 12, starting with the #1 seed. The top four teams in the standings will receive a First Round bye and will host a Quarterfinal Round best 2-out-of-3 series on Friday-Sunday, March 15-17. Seeds 5-8 will host a First Round best 2-out-of-3 series on Friday-Sunday, March 8-10. Winners of the First Round will be re-seeded for the Quarterfinals.
