Go to the App Store (Market for Android) and search for OverDrive Media Console. Select OverDrive Media Console. 2. Touch the “Free” (“Ok” for Android) button on the right side and it will change to “Install” (“Ok” for Android). 3. Touch “Install.” You will be asked for your password (No password for Android). After it is entered, OverDrive Media Console will install. Open OverDrive Media Console. 4. Touch the “Get Books +” button in the top right (“Menu” button for Android). Touch the “Settings” (“App Settings” for Android) button at the bottom. Touch the “Authorize with Adobe ID” button 5. If you already have an Adobe ID and password, enter it here. If not, please read the directions below: Touch the “Get Adobe ID” button at the bottom. Safari will open, and you will be taken to Adobe’s website. Touch “Create an Adobe Account.” You will be taken to a page where you are asked to supply some information. This is a secure site, but Adobe is not affiliated with the Library. Please fill in the required fields indicated with a red asterisk. When finished, touch “Continue” at the bottom of the page. Exit Safari, open OverDrive Media Console and enter your Adobe ID. *For Android—if you don’t have an Adobe ID, open the web browser and go to: http://goo.gl/5yFKT 6. Touch “Get Books” (“Menu” for Android) at the bottom left. Touch “Add a Website” at the top. Enter “62568” in the “Find a Library:” search field. Touch the “Search” button. Select “Taylorville Public Library” from the top of the list. Touch where is says “Available formats.” 7. Touch “Login” in the top right. At the login screen, select your Library at the bottom. 8. At the next screen, enter your Library card number. Touch “Login.” 9. From here, search for a particular title or just browse. Pay attention to the grey box below the book cover to see if the title is an eBook or eAudiobook. Only MP3 and EPUB titles are compatible with the mobile version of OverDrive Media Console. If a title is available, it will say “add to cart” in the grey box. If it is checked out, it will say “place a hold.” 10. Once a title is selected, touch “add to cart.” Select “Continue Browsing” to check out more titles or “Proceed to Checkout” to check out the titles in your cart. After touching “Proceed to Checkout,” touch “Confirm check out” at the bottom of the next screen. 11. Touch “Download.” This opens OverDrive Media Console, and your eBook or eAudiobook will be downloaded directly to OverDrive Media Console. For help or questions call 217.824.4736 Download 6.82 Kb.
