pH (potential of hydrogen), this sensor gives us the values of soil pH and it displays the pH value of soil in LCD display and it stores the pH level of soil in Thingspeak webpage.
Generally its scale is from 0 to 14. If it shows less than 7 then soil is acidic in nature
If it is equal to 7 then soil is neutral in nature and if it is greater then the soil is alkaline or basic in nature.
Now a days the rate of crop destruction made by animals are very high, so to reduce this problem we proposed a method in which we use an ultrasonic sensor and webcam.
If any obstacle enters into the farm, the ultrasonic sensor detects and it switches ON both buzzer and webcam.
This project is a automated maintenance and monitoring system. The system provides a real time system which monitors soil pH, temperature and soil moisture efficiently.
The system valves are turn ON or OFF automatically depending upon the moisture content. The system also provides the efficient information regarding the soil pH and soil nutrients.
The system provides a real time analysis to the owner to monitor variation in the parameters. Using this system, one can save manpower, water to improve production and ultimately increase profit.
We can add more environmental sensors to this module to make it more efficient.
