OBJECTIVE

OBJECTIVE

  • The increasing demand for food, both in terms of quantity and quality, has raised the need for intensification and industrialization of the agricultural sector.
  • The "Internet of Things" (IoT) is a highly promising family of technologies which is capable of offering many solutions towards the modernisation of agriculture.
  • The agricultural sector was highly benefited by the IoT. India is a land of different weather conditions and versatile soils.

INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION

  • The pH value of the soil is changing day by day due to different weather condition and other external factors, and which crop will be optimally suited to be grown in such soil are some of the problems common to the farmers.
  • One more major problem is, farming land damaged due to the animals. Because of these problems Farmers are facing the great losses in agriculture.
  • Here a system is proposed to monitor crop-field using sensors for soil moisture, humidity and temperature.

Contd..

  • By monitoring these parameters the irrigation system can be automated based on the soil moisture.
  • This system also detect the pH value of the soil and instruct the farmer which crop is suitable to yield in Farming land as well as it detects the animal movement and alert the farmer by live footage of animal movement by camera.
