  • The figure is an example of coding environment.
  • Here Raspberry Pi with an operating system that can be programmed.
  • The program decides the functionality of the system.

THINGSPEAK

  • Thigspeak is the public cloud webpage which is used for data storage.
  • First open the Thingspeak webpage then sign in to access the data. For signing in to the webpage, register with email id and password.

WORKING

WORKING

  • Raspberry pi is the heart of the this project. The DHT11 sensor measures the temperature and humidity of the environment and stores the data in public Cloud which is called Thingspeak. If the temperature increase beyond certain level then the alarm rings
  • The soil moisture sensor used to measure the water level in the soil. If the water content in the soil is low then the water pump turns ON and vice versa. The information like motor ON/OFF stored in the Thingspeak webpage.

  • The soil pH sensor measures the pH level of the soil and stores the pH value of the soil in Thingspeak webpage, 5.5 to 6.5 is very best pH level fort Farming Land which provides more crop yielding.
  • If ultrasonic sensor detects the obstacle, then the USB camera turns on and the url link is send to the farmers email. By that url, farmer can watch the live footage of the obstacle movement in the farming land.

Contd..

  • In our project we are using soil moisture sensor, it gives us information about moisture level in soil. It displays the soil moisture status in LCD display and in Thingspeak webpage.
  • If the moisture level is low, the motor placed in the field automatically gets on and if it is high its get off. Here raspberry pi acts as both transmitter and receiver.
