1. Rough- set up the tripod.
2. Attach the instrument to the tripod
3. Center the optical plummet
4. Adjust the tripod legs
5. Confirm the position
6. Center the bubble
7. Check the relation
8. Loosen the instrument attachment
9. Tighten the attachment clamp
10. Re-level and repeat
