Dear Community Supporter, The Kayla Peach Memorial Foundation’s (KPMF) mission is to bring awareness & education to empower families with knowledge and information about the epidemic of substance abuse in our communities. The goal of the foundation is to raise awareness in our communities about the silent, but very real, epidemic of substance abuse related deaths happening among our youth. In trying to prevent this tragedy from devastating any other families; we bring awareness and education to our communities in many ways. We hold multiple Town Hall Events which feature informational prevention videos and guest speakers all in the comfort of a movie theater. We have purchased and are implementing educational programs into our schools for parents and youth starting at an earlier age. Our current programs are Reality Tour and REALL Simulation. Both are great hands-on programs. We want to empower our youth with the knowledge and information necessary to make wise and life-saving choices. We offer high school scholarships to graduating seniors in our communities as well. We are partnered with the Paso Robles School District, treatment & prevention organizations, law enforcement, and many other community businesses. No parent ever thinks it will be “their child”. It is our mission to make this a reality. Our Color Fun Run, along with a health fair and block party, will be held on June 4, 2016 at 9 am. The Run will begin this year at Paso Robles Sports Club and continue through Vina Robles Vineyards road. Participants can run or walk the 5K or 10K course or do the 1K for 14 & under run and then join us at the club after for the health fair and block party. There will be music, free activities, food and drinks for sale from local organizations, prevention & informational booths, a silent auction, raffle, prizes, fun and lots of color. As well as the Paso Robles Sports Club will be having an open house to come try some of their great classes for all ages throughout the day. We are looking for support from local businesses to help sponsor this event, and we have several sponsorship levels available. We are looking for support by the way of silent auction, raffle and prizes, items such as gift certificates, merchandise, waters, snack bars, and swag bag goodies. The Kayla Peach Memorial Foundation’s non-profit Tax ID # 46-2804701. Help us bring awareness and education to our local communities, parents, and youth. So many local community members have been touched in some way by the tragic loss of youth due to addiction and substance abuse related overdoses and accidents.
