AcAdemic FAQs
i am interested in studying abroad. How do i get started?
Studying abroad opens career doors upon graduation. Study abroad experience shows
that you're eager to learn and willing to try new things, which are desirable qualities in an employee. Students who have studied abroad also tend to have higher salaries in the future, and international careers are a fast-growing opportunity for graduates. Students develop a worldview, a more global/international perspective and learn/improve foreign language, cross-cultural communication and adjustment skills.
We have various resources available on our website that can assist you with planning for your study abroad experience. Please visit www.kennesaw.edu/studyabroad.
You can go any semester that is convenient for you and the length of your stay will depend on the program you choose, but generally KSU summer programs are 4-6 weeks long; we also have semester and academic year exchanges. Each program's requirements are different; KSU summer programs require a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Costs vary for each program and are based on the destination and length of stay. KSU requires that meal plans be included in the registration of all full-time undergraduate

How do i know which plan i'm required to purchase?
All requirements can be found on the Meal Plans page. All students with fewer than 30

We believe our community should be a diverse one where people of all
cultures, colors, faiths, beliefs, orientations, and abilities are treated with

We understand that differences of opinion do occur, and that such
differences are healthy, but how such differences of opinion are expressed
is important.
The challenge before us in the Division of SS is to work together to help
create a more civil community at Kennesaw State University.
Our committed goal, therefore, is to work together to formulate a plan of
action that will help Kennesaw State University become a place where civil
behavior is routinely practiced and is an integral part of our culture.
