The Art Institute of Washington, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, is one of The Art Institutes (www.artinstitutes.edu).

The Art Institutes is a system of over 50 education institutions located throughout North America, providing an important source of design, media arts, fashion and culinary professionals.

The Art Institute of Washington was founded in July 2000 as a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, GA, and consists of 74,500 square feet of classroom, computer lab, library, and office space.

The Art Institute of Washington offers a variety of gallery exhibits that showcase work by faculty and students, as well as local artists.

Culinaire Restaurant, the student-run restaurant of The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Washington, features creative gourmet cuisine and is open to the public. The menu changes quarterly. Call 703.247.3841 for reservations and more information.
