Motocross Association 1975-2006 31 Years of Youth Motocross 2006 Rules of Competition MIDDLE ATLANTIC MOTOCROSS ASSOCIATION M.A.M.A. 2006 is the 31st season for M.A.M.A., a non-profit youth motocross organization based at Budds Creek MX Park, Budds Creek, MD. During the 2005 racing season almost 1500 racers participated in events promoted by M.A.M.A. The organization is run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, and is dedicated to providing the very best in youth motocross racing. Throughout this racing season, the Board hopes that all members will learn and grow as a result of the time spent at our events. M.A.M.A. races are known the nation wide for the high quality standards upheld. Sportsmanship, caring, understanding and fairness traits we all should foster are priorities at M.A.M.A. By providing the youth of our area the safest, most organized motocross races possible, we invest in today's youth in hopes of a better tomorrow. The rules outlined here are intended only as a guide for the conduct of the sport pursuant to uniform rules. Rules directed or related to safety are promulgated to make all persons concerned with safety, but M.A.M.A. neither warrants safety if the rules are followed nor compliance with the enforcement of the rules. Moreover, each participant and parent or Legal guardian in competition has the responsibility to assess the safety aspects of facilities and conditions and must assume the risks of competition. RACE SIGN-UP FEE - $25 PER CLASS LATE SIGN-UP FEE - $10 PER CLASS SATURDAY PRACTICE FEE - $10 PER CLASS (IN ORDER TO PRACTICE ON SATURDAY YOU MUST SIGN-UP FOR SUNDAY’S RACE) MEMBER TRANSPONDER RENTAL FEE $20 PER RACE NON-MEMBER TRANSPONDER RENTAL FEE $25 PER RACE A DRIVERS LICENSE OR AMA MUST BE HELD WHEN YOU RENT THE TRANSPONDERS – IT WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU WHEN YOU RETURN THE TRANSPONDER TO THE TROPHY TRAILER AT THE END OF YOUR RACE DAY.
SATURDAY’S – 7:00 AM TO 10:00 AM SUNDAY’S – 6:30 AM TO 9:00 AM WEEKEND GATE ENTRY FEE - $10/PER PERSON (WHETHER YOU COME IN FRIDAY, SATURDAY OR SUNDAY, YOU WIL BE REQUIRED TO PAY GATE FEE) – THERE ARE NO GATE REFUNDS!!!! 10 AND UNDER FREE, IF RIDER IS UNDER 10 YOU MUST STILL PAY GATE FEES – ALL FAMILY MEMBERS MUST BE SIGNED IN ON THE WAIVER FORMS AT THE GATE BY AN ADULT.
