2012: Led all qualifying New York-Penn League 2B with a .969 fielding percentage (9 E/286 TC) at Short-A Lowell.
Paced the Spinners and tied for 4th in the NYPL with 71 games...Also led Lowell with 31 RBI and ranked among club leaders in AB (2nd, 251), runs (3rd, 34), hits (2nd, 67), BB (2nd, 32), and steals (3rd, 20).
Batted .338 (27-for-80) against southpaws.
Named Red Sox Minor League Base Stealer of the Month for August/September after swiping 9 bases without being caught.
2011: Played 1 game for the Rookie-level GCL Red Sox in his pro debut on 8/26 vs. GCL Twins.
PERSONAL
Batted .509 and stole 30 bases to earn Louisville Slugger High School All-American honors as a senior in 2011 at John Overton (TN) High School.
At Overton High, was also a member of the basketball team and a standout bowler.
Named after former NBA point guard Mookie Blaylock.

In January 2015, Mookie interacted with fans at Red Sox Winter Weekend…Met and visited with Jimmy Fund patients during the Red Sox Rookie Development program in 2014…Also participated in the Red Sox Destinations program and Picnic in the Park, which benefitted the Red Sox Foundation…Attended a BoSox Club Luncheon, and greeted fans at the gates before a 2014 home game.
