Entry fee is $15.00 per person for the Family Pier Fishing Tournament. A VALID PIER PASS IS REQUIRED TO FISH FROM EACH PIER. Entry fee covers valid pier pass for the day/days of the tournament. Fish must be caught from each pier with a rod and reel. Pier personnel must weigh in qualifying fish when fresh-preferably live, with no mutilation other than hook and/or gaff marks. Fish must be caught, brought in, and landed by a qualified tournament entrant only. All tournament entrants are subject to all posted rules and regulations of the pier. Prizes will be awarded for the largest overall fish combined from all three piers in each category. In case of tie – the first largest fish caught in each category wins. One additional prize will be awarded for the largest fish caught of any species. There are six species of fish that qualify to win prizes for this tournament. Spot, Flounder, Sea Mullet, Pompano, HogFish and Bluefish. All decisions of pier personnel are final and pier personnel may resolve any questions only. Tournament, the North Carolina Seafood Festival, Inc.and Pier Personnel are not liable for any injury or accidents that occur while on pier property. Pier is not responsible for any lost or stolen property.
