2- It began in a two-room office above a car dealership in Honesdale, Pennsylvania in 1946 after their founders broke off from “Children’s Activities.” Developed by Drs. Gerry and Carole Myers, their website touts itself as the place “parents and kids click.” While the format has changed, their motto “Fun with a Purpose,” has not, as has their mainstay features such as “Our Own Pages,” “The Timbertoes,” and “Hidden Pictures.” FTP name this children’s magazine that introduced to the world those polar opposites “Goofus and Gallant.”

A student dance group in Texas gets in trouble for a salacious rendition of a Britney Spears song. A group of boys steal Col. Sanders, take questionable pictures and get caught when they get them developed. Seniors take over the faculty parking lot. A student at Brookwood in Georgia hijacks the PA system. FTP these are just some of the “scandals, pranks and controversies” shown in what MTV program about students in grades 9-12.
High School Stories
4- He made his newspaper debut on October 23, 1978, when he was discovered in a bottom dresser drawer. Over time, there have been two spellings of his name, one ending in “ie”, the other in “y,” although the latter is now the accepted form. He doesn't seem to have human qualities such as movement, but in one instance, he managed to jump through a hoop when his owner wasn’t looking. One story line had him missing, thus causing his owner to turn into the Caped Avenger, only to find out he was thrown in the wash. FTP name this teddy bear companion of the lasagna eating feline named Garfield.

5- When the founder of this store died in 1912, his daughter Leila Meyer and her husband travelled to the funeral on the Titanic- only Leila would survive. Established in New York City, it would join forces with Gimbels’ and open their flagship store in 1924, eventually branching off to stores in Palm Beach, Chicago and Miami Beach. In Shopgirl, the main character works at the glove counter at its Beverly Hills location. FTP name this department store, now owned by Macy’s, best known as the site where Winnona Rider was caught shoplifting in 2001.

6- It begins when the main character decides to step on grass he’s warned not to. Among things he claims he can do are: park in handicap spots, write graffiti, jaywalk in the street, riot, loot, not give a hoot, and touch your sister's teat. As his rampage moves on, he challenges Regis Philbin to a rap and tells Hammer he cannot sue, because, like the bad guy in Lethal Weapon 2, he has diplomatic immunity as head of Petoria. FTP name this Family Guy musical number on diplomatic immunity which gets its inspiration from MC Hammer’s most famous hit.
You Can’t Touch Me
7- It was just a half a mile from the railroad track, and it was removing the garbage from this titular location that lead to an arrest by Officer Obie, and the subsequent taking of twenty-seven eight-by-ten color glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one. These two episodes that were related -- along with others -- in, FTP, what very lengthy, mostly spoken-word song, written and performed by Arlo Guthrie, and titled after an eating establishment.
Alice’s Restaurant
8- It gets its name from a location in Mountain City, Tennessee. It delves into the life of a Tennessee moonshiner’s son named John Lee Pettimore, a man who volunteered for service in Vietnam because in his words “they draft the white trash first anyway.” Upon his return from fighting, he takes up a new money making scheme, planting pot in a holler near the titular path. Knowing that the DEA has helicopters, he ends by saying “I learned a thing or two from Ol’ Charlie.” FTP name this song by Steve Earle from 1987 whose name suggests it could be a thoroughfare for Southern poisonous snakes.
Copperhead Road
9- Set to debut November 7th, its original creator said of its title, based on a short story, “[it’s] that spark of niceness in a relationship that if you don't have, you might as well give up." Given the fake title “Risico,” a rumor of a gay kiss by the main character sparked outrage on the internet. Mathieu Amlaric is set to play Dominic Green, a villain he claims to draw his evilness from such things as the smile of Tony Blair and the “craziness” of Sarkozy. Gemma Arterton is scheduled to play agent Fields, who may or may divert the hero from his previous love, Vesper Lynd. FTP name this newest installment in the James Bond series, a sequel to “Casino Royale” wherein once again Daniel Craig will play the British agent, blond hair and all.
Quantum of Solace
10- This music club opened in December 1973, underneath what the club owner called the "largest flophouse on the Bowery". That owner, Hilly Kristal, soon instituted a rule specifying that bands playing at the club could play only their own original music. The club's early headliners included Television, The Ramones, Blonde, the Patti Smith Group, and the Talking Heads. The club never did feature much of the music the owner had originally intended -- country, bluegrass, blues -- a list of styles from which, FTP, what New York City music club drew its name?

In his first true season after being red shirted, he broke out for the first of five consecutive 100 yard+ games, replacing the injured Thomas Brown. He may be best known in some circles for introducing Georgia fans (and Verne Lundquist) to the Soulja Boy dance, wherein most times he would be the one leading his teammates on the sideline. 16- We find out his last name is Hardwick and he was played in the video by Tyler Hilton. The singer secretly loves him, but all he speaks about to her is his girlfriend. Every time he walks by her, she questions why he doesn't notice the fact she can’t breathe. The singer then warns his girlfriend to hold him tight and love him, look in his eyes and know she is lucky to have him, because every time he looks at her, she fakes a smile so he won’t see the truth. FTP name this song character, the reason for the teardrops on Taylor Swift’s guitar.

17- The southern author best known for this work, Margaret Anne Barnes, died in Atlanta in October 2007. The story, set in the town of Newnan, deals with Sherriff Lamar Potts, played by Johnny Cash, and his attempts to convict John Wallace, a wealthy landowner played by Andy Griffith. In the end, it was the testimony of two black sharecroppers that sealed Wallace’s fate, a first in Georgia history, and sent him to the electric chair in 1950.
