Professional Education Worker (Sponsored Programs)

Job Duties:
|
Under the general supervision of the Director of Sponsored Programs, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to multi-task effectively in a high paced educational environment. Experience providing administrative assistance/support in higher education, and assist in managing grant-related activities. Assists faculty, staff and administrators to interpret and accomplish program objectives outlined in grant proposals; prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports; facilitate student support services; and ensure that Program Managers stay in compliance. Analytical capabilities; high ethical standards; strong written and verbal communications skills; familiarity with the latest Microsoft Office software.

MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
|
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications or Marketing, or related field supplemented with philanthropy and/or grants management experience A minimum of two years paid experience and demonstrated knowledge in grants management. Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel and Power Point). Excellent computer and interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and non-verbally. Ability to collaborate successfully with instructional and industry teams.
