The clerk informed the members of the council that she, Mr. Phifer, Todd Gullion and Steve Peachey met with Cicero Township Trustee, Korey Henderson in order to discuss ambulance services to the Town of Atlanta in addition to the possibility of forming a new fire territory. Mr. Henderson will run BLS services to the Town of Atlanta for no fee. Mr. Peachey is working on options for ALS services.

Mr. Henderson also indicated that he is interested in forming a new territory. Mr. Phifer and Mrs. Cook discussed having Jim Higgins, London Witte, put together an initial study, including different scenarios of territory members, in order to look at financial impacts.

The clerk asked the other members of the council if they were in favor of proceeding with Mr. Higgins. All were in favor therefore, the clerk will contact him.


OLD BUSINESS
NEW BUSINESS
Hamilton County Animal Control Information. Deputy Sanford, Hamilton County Animal Control Officer, attended the meeting to discuss what he can and cannot do within the corporate limits regarding animal control as the Town has opted out of the Hamilton County Animal Control Ordinance.

There was much discussion regarding the matter. The council tabled any decisions as Mr. Phifer was unable to attend the meeting and receive the information.

Deputy Sanford offered to come back and go through the ordinance page by page with the council if they so desired.
Adjustments. Tolley, approved
With no further business to discuss the claims were signed and the meeting adjourned.
