Progress Report 4: 23 August 2005 Emergent behaviour in virtual agents

  To present an improved version of the literature review template.

  To continue with the discussion of related literature.
  

After a closer look at, and the comparison of related work discussed so far and with the help of Hannah and Shaun, categorised research notes were compiled. With these notes, common concepts, arguments and observations from different authors, were identified. This helped in identifying areas that needed a closer look (candidate topics). A number of interesting ideas have been spotted. The research problem was further scrutinised as illustrated in the figure below.

No problems were encountered

I look forward to recap on some of the articles we have already discussed in an attempt to identify common and contradicting arguments between different authors. This will serve as part of my research notes.
