Main project features: Programs and projects were drawn from visioning exercise and investment programs laid out in consonance with the overall implementation program.
Activities performed: Work includes assessment of existing environmental features of the area with respect to quality of land, water and air resources. Assessment was done on the urban environmental capacity in terms of solid waste and congestion. The city’s current land use was matched with the absorbing capacity of the environment to determine the strengths and weaknesses and possible constraints to future developments.
