Projects:
Created a dynamic webpage containing a form which uses select pull-down elements. Once the user selects the desired option, my script dynamically creates another pull-down element whose contents depend on the user’s previous choice. Use of modal when the page loads requesting username, email and stored them as cookies. Redirects bad browsers (Safari, IE8 and lower) to download google chrome. Also pops out new window to download Firefox as well. The user selected options get stored as local storage. Use of AJAX call to retrieve movie information from OMDBAPI which redirects the request to IMDB for the movie information.
Created a RESTful API Client for an Emergency Services. Developed a search form allowing the user to search for any combination of properties relating to the organization being sought. Selecting an organization from the search results displays an interface itemizing all of the categories of information available for that organization. The user can then select any of those categories to see the detailed information. Used several JQuery plugins like remodal, tablesorter, pagination, etc.
Multi-page website on Rochester for students who are planning to study in Rochester. This website addresses various issues that students have before/after coming to Rochester. This website provides details on accommodation/housing, banks, grocery stores, shopping malls, transportation, etc.

Excellent knowledge about the Data Warehousing Components, Architecture, Extract/transform/load process, warehouse implementation using PENTAHO and summary-data management. As a group project, we developed a sample Data warehouse for a company with the help of data warehousing techniques.
Mobile Application Development – iOS
Project:
The iNeed app is basically an easy to use community service like application that allows the user to lend or borrow items for example books, vacuum cleaner, hardware tools, shovels, etc. Since it is a community service the user can use these items free of cost for a day or two or may be even for weeks, months depending on mutual consent between the lender and the borrower. The technologies used were Objective-C and Xcode (iOS) on the client side and the server side consisted on PHP and MySQL database.
Analytical Thinking – Weka,Tableau (Data Mining)
Project:
Used Data Mining Tools like Weka and Tableau 8.1 to predict Wal-Mart Sales. Used train & test dataset to generate a linear regression equation containing various attributes like Temperature, CPI, Unemployment Rate, Fuel Price, Markdowns, etc which showed how these factors affect the Wal-Mart sales.
