Reaction Paper : The Billionaire
The story revolves around a Thai adolescent named Itthipat Kulapongvanich, also known as "Top." I was pleasantly surprised that this was not your typical teen film about a teen world that was centered on high school His world was not constrained by the four walls of his classroom. He was a high-schooler with the mindset of an entrepreneur who found his way through creating products and starting a business to help pay off his family's 40 million debt. He thinks outside the box at such a young age, which I found very inspiring as a young adult. Top, on the other hand, decided to drop out of college and start a chestnut business. Like any entrepreneur, he tried his hardest to make it work, ran into problems, and tried a variety of solutions to overcome the obstacles. When their family was set to migrate due to debt, he decided to put an end to his chestnut business. He considered leaving but ultimately opted to stay. After his firm failed, he came up with a new business idea after his girlfriend introduced him to fried seaweeds. It wasn't an easy journey because he spent a lot of money trying to figure out how to get the greatest seaweed formula possible. Despite this, the Thai college dropout with a $40 million debt is now a successful billionaire.
I love the movie! The protagonist was young, he had flaws, and he wasn't born perfect . Despite having a silver spoon in his mouth, he was happy and successful. This was a young boy.
risk-taker who dropped out of college, an online game addict with a $400,000 debt turned
billionaire. Youth, as well as the slight carelessness that leads to rash decisions, was something that shines in the film. That is one of the film's strong points. It was highly relatable to the audience because it featured a true-life story about a person who invented a snack sold at 7/11.
After watching, I realized that I had once considered starting my own business, and I had enough money to begin with, but I could never bring myself to try. I'm afraid I'll have to devote too much time to running it, or that I'll end up with failing grades or, worse, dropping out of college. The risks he took were ones I could never take, which I believe is a factor impeding my path to becoming a billionaire. Dropping out of college isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I promised my mother that I would complete my education. The most influential part of the film, however, was when it was emphasized that education is just as important as street smarts. That I am not. I'm blown away by how deeply this film moved me. I felt trapped in the four corners of school, knowing nothing beyond it. It scared me that this success might not last. What I imagined myself accomplishing was nothing like how it plays out in my head. I didn't have any strategies, and I didn't know what plan B or C would be. It was then that I realized I wasn't going to make it in the real world if I kept ignoring it and hiding behind my books. I had to learn by doing, I had to accept failure and not let it hold me back or make me give up.Overall, this film really struck a chord with me, as Top's tenacity touched my heart. Little heart with an underdog mentality. I picked up a lot of things that may Ma’am Red have wanted us to understand.
He was an avid online gamer who discovered that he could sell his weapons on an online game, or when he went to a food convention and saw and he saw a chestnut-making machine and realized he could sell one. Let us not forget the seaweed snack his girlfriend fed him that inspired the product, Tao Kae Noi, was his greatest success. Another was to venture and take risks. The heroine understood that he needed to take a chance on obtaining a degree in order to start his own business. He was brave enough to ignore anyone who told him he couldn't do it.
Whatever he dreamed of never stopped him from doing something to make his dreams a reality.
As a result, one must believe in themselves and act accordingly. No one, not even your parents, should be able to stop you. . I also admired Top's tenacity and never-say-die attitude. He didn't make any elaborate plans. I didn't think about it too much and just went with the flow. This kept him going and prevented him from plateauing. Just like how the real-life Top is now one of the youngest billionaires in Thailand.
Also, I appreciate how his failures were depicted in the film and how they served as a learning experience.
for long-term success Furthermore, as a businessman, it is critical to gather positive feedback, make the necessary changes along the way, and evaluate one's location as it plays an important role when providing a product or service. Finally, and most importantly, your success is not determined by your age. Anyone can start a business; young people are not as clueless as people believe, and they can certainly become one of the world's youngest billionaires if they so desire.
