Rules for the Live Auction





  1. Please take a seat during the auction so the spotters and auctioneer can see the bidders.




  1. The auction will move quickly, so review the items that interest you prior to the auction and bid decisively.




  1. If you are bidding please participate loud and clear.




  1. If you are the successful bidder, please let auctioneer see your bid number.

Please take your bid number to the register after bidding; you will receive a receipt

after checking out and your items have been paid for. ________________________________________________________

Rules for the Silent Auction

1. Bids are to be in $5 increments.




  1. No Item Guarding.




  1. The Silent Auction items will be pulled by SCWA staff or committee members.

4. Please use only your bid number not your name.


5. All items are to be paid for before you can pick them up.

The Jobes family has been carving working gunning decoys in the Havre De Grace Maryland Chesapeake Bay area for over 75 years.  This working bluebill decoy was hand carved by Joey Jobes the Grandson of Captain Harry Jobes one of North America's most famous decoy carvers.   This decoy is sure to be a valuable collector’s item.

SCWA/Black Dog Hunt Club Property Duck Hunt - 3 People, 1 Day – Jan 4th, 2017

Three of you will enjoy a guided duck hunt on the 195 acre SCWA managed duck impoundment adjacent to the SCWA Wildlife Education Center. This is the largest duck pond in the area and is planted with corn, chufa and jap millet. In addition 2,000 mallards are released annually on the property. You will arrive in the afternoon before your hunt and enjoy a cocktail while watching the evening duck flight. Then enjoy an oyster roast and dinner followed by the evening hunt talk. Bunk house lodging included. The next morning you will enjoy a guided duck hunt followed by breakfast. Your ducks will be cleaned and packaged for the ride home. This does not include $100 tip for guide who will provide guide services, decoys and bird cleaning. (Retail Value $1,800) This trip is good for January 4th, 2017 Only!

South African Plains Game Hunt, for up to 4 People, 5 Days - Donated by Wild Wildebeest Lodge (Tony Du Bruyn)

The South African Hunting Safari is for 2 or 4 hunters (2x1). Included are 5 days of daily rates (lodging, meals, and all beverages), with $1,000 toward trophy fees, and an additional $2,000 toward trophy fees if upgraded to a 10-day hunt. Not included in the donation is airfare to/from Johannesburg, day of arrival and day of departure, conservation fees, VAT tax, dip and pack if taxidermy is done in the U.S., and gratuities. Hunt may be taken from March through October 2016 or 2017. This 5-day donation is valued at $4,500; if upgraded to 10 days, donation is valued at $11,000. With this trip, Woods & Water Taxidermy in Conroe, Texas is offering $500 credit per hunter toward taxidermy work done by their company. (Retail Value $4,500)

This will cover six weeks of 5 star training.   Heath is arguably one of the top trainers in the southeast.   He has earned multiple national championship titles and numerous blue ribbons for dogs that have participated in his program.   The program has various levels including Obedience training for any dog from puppy to adult.  This focuses on making them a good 'citizen' and well socialized along with basic life skills of here, heel, sit.   For additional training, Heath offers a force fetch program to train dogs to fetch, hold, and return.   Once the dogs complete the force fetch, Heath provides various whistle and finish training options.
