The use of Brightspace

• I will use Brightspace to post lecture slides, additional class material and keep you updated with announcements.
• You should also use Blackboard to hand in your homework assignments and your final report and presentation.
• So make sure to enrol for the right course and check the page regularly: 2022 Business Skills.

Deliverables

• Bi-weekly optional hand-ins for draft sections.

Research report task

• Use the research topic you have formulated and received approval for.
• Write a formal research report.
• The main body (findings) section of your report should be approximately six A4 pages long.
• You are encouraged to use graphs, charts and tables to illustrate your points.
• Based on the findings in your body section, write the remainder of your report. This means that the total size of the report will be around 12 A4 pages.
• Your literature review should be two pages (of the 12).

Structure & requirements

• Title page (excl. page count.)
• Table of contents (excl. page count.)
• Executive summary: 1 page, shorter if possible.
• Introduction: ¾ page.
• Literature review: 2 pages.
• Body/findings: approx. 6 pages.
• Conclusion: ¾ page.
• Recommendations: 1 page.
