A few observations provide support to consider the treatment with a doctor as a more positive option. One supporting argument states that a doctor treatment guarantees more possibility for patients to get their healthy condition back. This condition occurs because a doctor is a well-trained practitioner and their methodology is based on scientific research. However, when it comes to traditional medicines and treatments, the way the traditional practitioner delivering the treatment to patients is totally the opposite of a doctor since the earlier one have no strong and scientific foundation to perform treatments.

In addition to the above-mentioned arguments, some experts believe that the doctor treatment would not damage the financial stability of patients since the payment is usually covered by a health insurance. As we might know, the cost required to treat chronic diseases, such as a cancer, is highly expensive. As an example, the expense for treating a lung cancer in a state hospital would cost more than IDR 1 million. Therefore, getting treated by a doctor through the use of health insurance would offer more advantages since health insurance providers never cover the treatment from traditional practitioners.
