LEARNING BY DOING IN THE CASE OF NUCLEAR POWER IS DANGEROUS. No Moral Nukes. Robert E. Goodin. Ethics, Vol. 90, No. 3 (Apr, 1980), pp. 417-449. Published by The University of Chicago Press. That finding, however, is as much a cause for concern as for hope. It is shocking that there is any room at all left for learning in an operational nuclear reactor, given the magnitude of the disaster that might result from ignorance or error in that setting.
