Knowledge with Contractual Arrangements as stipulated in Harmonized MDB FIDIC Contract Requirements – In addition to EMPs as part of the Contract Documents provided to Contractors, it was necessary to refer to General Conditions (relevant Chapters on Safety Procedure, Protection of Environment, Access Route, Fossils, Health & Safety, etc.), Particular Conditions, Employer’s Requirements and Technical Specifications. Through thorough study and active engagement of the Construction Supervision and Contractor’s Project Managers, coherence on the compliance was attained. The actual application of these contract requirements in projects provided a clearer and holistic insights, I believe, is an important technical skill for comprehensive compliance to Environmental Requirements.
