Posterior neck region showing ligature furrow with apparent reddish petechial hemorrhaging below. Purplish petechial hemorrhage or bruising is obviously evident at the furrow itself. Lower on the back we continue to see what appear to be rub abrasions. To a lay eye this appears to suggest friction against another object, such as a seat back. Indeed, the lower abrasions also have a bruising appearance.
