Overview: It was a historic year for the Cavaliers, who won their first ACC regular-season title since 1981 and the conference tournament for first time since 1976. Stopping opponents is the backbone of the Cavaliers, who lead the nation in scoring defense. The biggest challenges for a long tournament run will be scoring and free-throw shooting.
