(ii) The human resources The company’s
human resources in marketing, finance,
production, research and development (RD, and the overall image of the company in these areas have implication on the company’s ability to exploit opportunities and strangulate threats. The quality of the top management of the company in the functional areas of business will have implication on the quality of the strategy being articulated by the company and overall well-being of the company.
(iii) The financial position of the company Another internal element of an organisation is the financial status of the company. A company that has a strong financial base will have the muscle to employ competent human resources who can easily identify opportunities that the company has the financial capability to exploit. The competent human resources can easily design appropriate strategies to convert threats to opportunities or reduce the negative impact of the threat substantially.
