2.3 THEORETICAL REVIEW
There are several theories that could suit the purpose of this research, and yet, not all of them are particularly relevant. For this research, it is imperative that the following theories were employed to guide the study in proper perspective while examining and explaining reality.

This study draws from these two theories to explain certain human behaviours (in children) and describe their relationship with the media, as well as their reaction to changes therein.
