Arrival: We expect you on Saturday, November 12

Housing:

Rooms have been booked for all students from Saturday 12th - Sunday 20th morning (8 nights) at Chillout Youth Hostel in Beyoğlu, Taksim. This hostel is in İstiklal Street which is a popular part of town for International students.

ITU welcome session starts on: Saturday, November 12^th at 17:00.

You will be picked up from the Youth Hostel at 17:00 o’clock in the afternoon by the Erasmus Student Club (Erasmus Club representative can be reached from İbrahim +90 555 277 85 35 ibra7dik@gmail.com esnitu@esnturkey.org – itu.esnturkey.org). They will spend the first night with you to orient you to the surrounding area (İstiklal Street).The European Dimension starts on Sunday. You will be picked up from the hostel in the morning at 09:00 o’clock. Museum visits a boat trip and city tours are being organized for all day on the 13^th and 20^th of November.
Classes start on the 14^th of November 2011 Monday at 08:30. ITU students will accompany you during the week to show transportation and pick you up at 08:00 in the morning from the Hostel. They also create special events all throughout the week to show you Turkish Hospitality.
European Dimension:

There are a total of 40 students coming for the November 2011 session. 20 are enrolled at the ITU CEO01, 20 are enrolled in the ITU PHY02 course. The European Dimension activities will last for two full days and you will be toured by a bus and a friendly tour guide. The cost will be 75 Euros for 2 days including some meals. The first will be the 13^th of November Sunday second day will be Saturday 19th of November.

There will be a presentation of ITU given during your participation in the ATHENS programme by the local coordinator Defne Korur (defne.korur@itu.edu.tr) the time and place will be announced. Two courses are ITU CEO01 and ITU PHY02 being given in the main campus (Maslak- Ayazağa).
