5265 SOUTH AFRICAN WW2 HELMET, Khaki green, some scuffing to the original sand mixed paint. Some flakes have also come off, holes are drilled into the back of the brim for attachment of a neckflap. Original oil cloth liner and chinstrap. Inside is showing some service wear. Still a nice helmet, would look good on display. Grade II- $150

5266 SPAIN c1937 Spanish Civil War Model 1926 Steel Helmet. Shows overall wear to the exterior khaki/green painted finish. German style helmet with a raw edge to the flare. Steel badge attachment to the front. Leather 3-pad style liner with a leather liner band. Original brown leather chin - strap. Both liner and strap show service wear. One of the 2 lining pad studs at the rear of the helmet is missing. Grade II-. $285

5267 SWEEDEN MOD 1921 STEEL HELMET. Crimped edge. Slight Sagittal Crest to crown. Matte Grey finish. Has frontal badge with 3 Swedish Crowns and blue/yellow decals to both left & right sides. Three pad leather liner and chinstrap. Overall, good example. Grade II $85

5268 SWEDEN 1920'S MODEL 1926 STEEL COMBAT HELMET. 3 pad leather liner with leather liner with leather chinstrap. Matt grey finish shows only storage/light wear marks. Liner in excellent condition. Grade II $130

5269 US WW2 LATE WAR M1 STEEL HELMET. 1944 produced shell with rear seam join, hinged chinstrap bails and sewn green web chinstrap. Original O/D paint finish all worn off leaving a murky brown appearance. C/W WW2 plastic liner with front hole (missing sweatband and web stops in poor condition). No chinstrap. Chinstrap on shell partially torn through one side. Grade III+ $285

5270 US WW2 HELMET M1 SHELL ONLY. Normal service use showing signs of a number of repairs, all service done. Webbing straps still attached, but almost seperated from steel clips. Currently dark olive green in colour. Man paint loss to top. Some small dings. Grade II- $180

5271 US 1ST GULF WAR CHOC CHIP COMOUFLAGE. Kevlar helmat cover. All tabs intact. Usual "buttonholes" for inserting area comouflage comes with elastic band with luminous tabs. Grade II- $40

5272 US WW2 RELIC (BATTLEFIELD RECOVERED) M1 STEEL HELMET. Heavily rusted all over but still retains shape and is still fairly solid. Zinc alloy edge strip still present, as are fixed chinstrap bales. May have some cracking to metal due to climate exposure fatigue. Recovered from WW2 Pacific battle theatre, Solomon Islands area. Grade IV $150

5273 US WW2 ORIGINAL FIXED BALE MI STEEL HELMET AND LINER. Front seam shell with original olive drab grit painted finish with tan web chinstrap. Good fibre liner with tan web harness and brown leather chinstrap. O/a a very good example now getting hard to find. (Early fixed bale). Grade II+ $850

5274 US WW2 MI HELMET. Front seam, fixed bale shell with a dark O/A green cork texture finish. M-I khaki chinstrap and clip are original on the long side. The short side of the strap is replaced. Has a 1st pattern USMC camo cover. All original WW2 westinghouse liner complete with all khaki webbing. Leather sweatband has be restitched. Replaced leather chinstrap. A nice example. Grade II $650

5275 AUST WW2 HAT. Khaki fur felt. Press stud side, brim not re-inforced. Original 6 fold puggaree, frayed around the top. Original sweat band, marked "V.553, 6 1/8, 1945 only minor moth grazing upturned brim. Otherwise the hat itself is in very nice condition. No chinstrap but has an oxy Rising Sun badge. The colour patch on the puggaree is for "General Headquarters, 1942 with grey AIF backing. Puggaree Grade III+. Hat Grade II. $500

5276 AUST ARMY SLOUCH HAT '1968' dated (Vietnam period) Size 6 5/8th. Mady by 'Fayrefield Melbourne'. No chin strap, has pugaree and RAE hat badge (1953-60) QC. Nice. Grade II+ $65

5281 AUST WW2 LATE WAR SLOUCH HAT DATED 1945. Original sweat band, chin strap and pugaree. 70% of the sweat band is detattched, but still in place. The pugaree is a woolen militia pattern. The hat is nicely shaped and has a press stud side and some light moth grazing to the underside of the brim. Grade II- $450

5285 AUST KOREAN WAR HAT. Khaki, fur-felt (slouch hat) single press stud side with Kc Aust Mil Forces Rising Sun hat badge. "Fayrefield" made by United Hats Melbourne 1953. Size 7 1/8. Complete with chinstrap and puggaree. The intact sweatband shows use/wear. No sign of mothing. Some light discolouration near air vent holes. Grade II- $275

5286 AUST VIETNAM WAR ROYAL AUSTRALIAN REGIMENT SLOUCH HAT (Hat, khaki, fur, felt) made by Dunkerley (Akubra) in 1967. Early Vietnam period R.A.R. hat badge to side brim (original to hat) size 6 1/2. Very scarce (53-60 brass badge). Chinstrap broken but present. 2 very minor moth grzes to top. Grade II- $195

5293 BELGIUM POST WW2 BRODIE STYLE STEEL COMBAT HELMET. With brown size 56 Oilskin type liner (leather) and elaticised cloth chinstrap. Someone has given this helmet as a 21st Birthday gift and it is engraved in 3 places with such details (this is not really noticeable until closely inspected). Overall dark green paint finish. Great for re-enactor or static display. Small rectangular decal to side. Grade II-. $130

5299 GERM WWI PRUSSIAN EM'S ARTILLERY KUGELHELM. All grey metal fittings. Rear spine with air vent. Black leather shell with some crazing and areas of wear to the outer black finish. Scrape marks to both visors but both still have their black finish. Reproduction black leather chinstrap, national and prussian kokardes. Dark brown leather liner badly worn with only two complete tongues remaining. Faint ink manufacturer's stamp to the inside of the dome and a size "54" stamp. 5300 GERM WW2 EARLY PATTERN SA KEPI. Light brown cotton construction, soft top style. Has the early pattern nickel- silver eagle/Swastika insignia to the front and a large gilt button joining the side flap front ends. Stiff, light brown cotton covered visor. Reproduction leather chinstrap. Brown oilcloth sweatband (intact but showing wear). Browning/olive/cotton/rayon lining in GC. A hard to find kepi which shows some service use. Grade II- $850*

5301 AUST WW2 RAN TROPICAL PITH HELMET. White blanco canvas. Good shape with with no damage. Has leather sweatband but missing chinstrap. Dated 1925 by Hobson & Sons London. Named to "AT Owen CPO". One area of light stain O/W a nice example. Botswain Arthur Owen enlisted in the RAN 12/3/1925 DISCH 9/9/1946. Grade II $125

5302 AUST C/WW2 BAND HELMET WHITE WOLESLEY STYLE WITH LARGE BRASS SPIKE AND ROYAL AUSTRALIANS ARTILLERY HAT BADGE TO FRONT. (1948-1953 style badge). Size 6 3/4 by Bloomfield Co. Pty Ltd London, 1940 dated. Impressive looking display item. Liner good but missing chinstrap. Grade II- $195

5303 GERM WW2 LUFTWAFFE PITH HELMET (TROPENHELM). Khaki-brown cloth covered cork construction with brown leather trim and chin-strap. Some areas of light soiling. 2nd pattern eagle and national shield. Zinc eagle with a silver wash finish (some wear to the finish). Brown leather sweatband shows service use and now has a few cracks/tears. The reverse is RB numbered and dated "1943". Grade II- $850*

5315 AUST WW2 Officers Service Dress Uniform (Tunic and Trousers) Delightful tailored tunic made by Peapes of Sydney. Original wearer was a WWI 1st Light Horse Regiment (1A.L.H) Survivor present at ANZAC. Small colour patches with 'A' Device (Mini) to upper sleeve area, with WW2 Unit Colour Patch below, showing service with the New Guinea Administration Unit (Unit raised to look after the Admin- istration of PNG Native Affairs due to the suspension of the civil Authority 1944-47) Rank of Captain. All matching bath stars; and "Australia" Shoulder titles never fitted. Collar badges (Rising Sun A.I.F) fitted to lapels. Period Medal Ribbon Bars sewn to left chest. (14/15 Star, BWM, VIC, 39-45 Star, Pacific). Trousers show minor wear and some minute holes (Either moth or furniture related) and are approx. Size 85cm Waist. Jacket chest size approx. 100cm. A delightful looking item ready for display. Also display 4 year service chevron to lower right sleeve. Grade II. $1000

5316 AUST WW2 RAAF UNIFORM LOT ATTRIBUTED TO WARRANT OFFICER DAVID G CLARK 435266. RAAF. Lot consists of peaked cap with KC W/Officers cap badge (not named). Winter Battledress, made in Australia, dated 1944, no insignia. Named to D G Clark. Size 1. Winter 4 pocket SD tunic with all KC bakelite buttons, KC rank patches for WO Class 1 and 3rd pattern Observers wing. Dated 1943. About Size 80cm around waist. Served NG, Darwin, Moritai, Radson Jarva. Grade II. $700

5317 AUST WW2 RAAF PILOTS UNIFORM TO DFC WINNER. BRITISH MADE tunic with flying officer rank "RAAF" pilots wing, sew-on ribbon bar for DFC, 39-45 star, DEF, War, ASM. "Australia" titles, KC, bakelite buttons. Officer's peak cap with all gilt cap badge, KC war time issue, "W.D." Arrow issue stamp. Trousers with tunic, this has makers label: "S.Salsbury, Australia house, W.C.2. From Savile row, W.1." Also black shoes, sleeveless pullover, tie. The pullover is is the type made by Comfort funds. Also on tunic is a 3 bar overseas chevron and KC oxy sleeve eagles, light moth to tunic, a little more to cap o/w Grade II-. $700

5318 AUST C/1948-53 DRESS BLUES TUNIC AND TROUSERS OF BRIGADIER GEORGE HENRY MORAN. Four pocket open collar tunic with brass RAEME buttons, Gilt and enamel rank pips and crowns for Brigadier Rank. Scarlet collar gorgets and nine place ribbon bar inc OBE WWI and WW2 service. C/W matching trousers and named to GH Moran on inside lining. Missing belt. Awarded the OBE for meritorious service during WW2 in the UK, M/East and New Guinea. Grade II- $350

5319 AUST WW2 SIXTH DIVISION ARTILLERY OFFICERS UNIFORM LOT CONSISTING OF: 1. Officer's tailored service dress tunic with all badges and buttons, 6 div arty colour patchs. 2 small moth nips to sleeves. 2. Officer's peaked cap with rising sun badge. "Phillip Joseph" maker (Melbourne) small (approx 54cm size) very good condition. 3. 50cm leather covered swagger cane. Grade II- $750*

5320 AUST WW2 Pair of tunics and pith helmet attributed to Joseph Reany. One enlisted man's service tunic, and one engineers dress tunic. The E/M's tunic is woll/serge with very little moth damage. Only a little mothing to the arms, and one small hole under the right arm. It has its full set of Oxy collar badges and buttons as well as a colour patch for the Royal Australian Engineers, and insignia for a Corporal. The makers labels are still intact, dating the tunic 1942 and naming it to Joseph Reany. The dress tunic is made of blue wool, the collar and cuffs are blue velvet and trimmed with yellow piping, the cuffs featuring Austrian knots. It features a full set of Brass Engineers Buttons (1920-1940), bullion insignia for a corporal and yellow cord shoulder straps. There are no makers labels, but overall this is a very desirable tunic. The Pith Helmet is white, bianco over canvas cork. Not dated, but size 6 1/8. Wolsey pattern and has a brass helmet rose and spike. A very unusual set to come across in such good condition. $1250

5321 AUST C/VIETNAM WAR. Female colonel uniform consisting of tunic with A/A colonel rank, redtabs, Qc. WRAAC buttons and sew in ribbon bar of AO (officer of the order of Australia), 1939-45 war medal and 1939-45 Australia service medal, pale pink shirt/blouse with dark green necktie, skirt. All sized small. Recipient colonel Kathleen Fowler AO. Nice complete uniform. 1969/70's dated. Grade II+ $135

5323 AUST WW2 RANVR OFFICRES S/D TUNIC AND WHITE TOP VISOR CAP. Double breasted black reefer jacket with double row of K/c ran gilt buttons. RANVR cuff rank for lieutenant (dental branch). No name or date. Adelaide tailors label. C/w officers visor cap. White "waffle" top. K/c gilt metal economy type officers hat badge. Black leather chinstrap. Brown leather sweatband marked "RAN". O/A heavy service wear but retain a good appearance. Rare. Grade II- $650

5324 AUST WW2 ROYAL AUST NAVY SEAMAN'S UNIFORM. Consists of flannel (shirt), trousers, blue jean collar lanyard and navel rating hat. The flannel has some small stains to front and back (not too bad), no tags but marked to "D.Bell", overall slightly off-white appearance due to age. Trousers also have most stains to front and back and around pockets. Some discolouring to the cuffs at the bottom. All buttons intact and like the flannel has a slightly off-white appearance due to age. Also good condition blue jean collar and white ropelanyard. White and blue navel rating hat, marked to coope R. size 6 1/8. Missing tallyband, but overall a good uniform. Grade II- $250

5325 AUST WW2 RAAF SUMMER/WINTER PAIR OF TUNICS TO CRASHED PILOT. Belonged (both named) to wing Commander William Neehan. Winter tunic has cuff rank for W/C, service patch with 5 red bars, oxy K/C RAAF cuff badges and has flat type K/C RAAF Pilots wings. These have been removed but replaced. Manufacturer's tag present. Trousers dated 1941 with manu- tag. K/C RAAF buttons. 4 pockets on tunic. Light stains to collar. Summer tunic has extensive stains, external and internal. Left and epaulette torn. Both RAAF epaulette badges present. Has flat type K/C RAAF pilots wings. All buttons present. manu. tag on tunic + trousers named + present. Trousers show lighter staining. Both tunic belts present. W/C Meehan died in 1948 when he crashed his plane. Wreckage found 25 years later. Comes with research notes. Very nice WW2 RAAF pilot uniform examples. Winter = Grade II+, Summer = Grade II- $550
