5378 AUST WW2 + TUNIC CEREMONIAL BLUES FROM BRIGADIER DONALD DAVID WEIR. Brig. Weird saw service in very late WW2, the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War. Medal ribbon bar reflects above and was honoured with a Member of the Order of the British Empire and later upgraded to CBE (Mil). Australian Staff Corps buttons and collar tabs, and U.S. Presidential unit citation. Tunic dated 1963. C/W basic research notes, more research required. Grade II-. $125*

5380 AUST VIETNAM WAR CEREMONIAL BLUES TUNIC. Colonel. Royal Australian Engineers Corps. Named inside this early 1950's made (MTx tag). Tunic to Edwin Gait Albrecht. AIF in WW2 to the rank of WO2 at age 28, service again during the Vietnam War as Captain and awarded an M.I.D, (soft ribbon bar intact with M.I.D device). Red tabs to collar with Colonel rank to epaulettes. Worthy of further research. Grade II- $95*

5381 AUST WW1 RARE ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVAL BRIGADE OFFICERS FROCKCOAT. Black wool with a double breasted row of gilt WW1 RANB (1941-1920) brass buttons to the front. Another four of the same button to the tails on the reverse. RANR (Wavy Navy) gold lace rank on the cuffs for LT-Commander. Interestingly, the niddle rank band is not quite as toned as the ones for Lieutenant as done by a tailor on promotion to Lt-Commander. Hard cloth covered epaulets to the shoulders fixed with screw post buttons, one a WW1 RAN gilt button, the other a RN (replaced) gilt button. To each epaulet a gilt braid knot. Heavily lined interior not named or marked. A very rare Australian naval uniform. Grade II- $850

5382 AUST WW2 RAAF AIR GUNNER N.CO'S S/D (WINTER) TUNIC. RAAF blue wool with all black bakelite buttons, "AG" half wing brevet (flat emb. type), rank for flight sergt: C/W belt and a WW2 RAAF shirt with detachable collar. Not named. A nice looking tunic. Grade II $500

5383 AUST WW2 RAAF OFFICERS TUNIC FOR FLIGHT LIEUTENANT BOMBARDIER. Sleeve rank with both soaring eagle insignia. Period embroidered half wing. Tailored in Victoria. Low profile buttons made by Stokes & Sons, Melbourne. Very light moth spots to sleeve. Grade II-. $325

5384 GB SUSSEX YEOMANRY 1902 FULL DRESS LANCER PATTERS OFFICER'S TUNIC. A rare example adopted by the Regiment Circa 1902 and discontinued in 1909 with the introduction of a new pattern. Khaki woollen cloth with regimental pattern "Dublin Fusilier Blue" facings to the collar, cuffs and plastron front. The collar is edged with blue mohair lace, which can also be found to the cuffs. The Tunic is edged with blue piping which is repeated to the back and arms, also the flaps to the skirt. The blue cord shoulder straps are mounted with Lieutenant's rank stars. The interior with age wear and damage, having part of the lining absent. Tailor's name tag "Lieut. A Lyon". Collar Badges absent. Some age wear. Grade II- $1100

5386 GB C/1890 Staff Officer's Patrol Blues tunic. Brass QVC Staff Officer's buttons with "VR" cypher. (Bottom button from top and one from R/H epaulette missing) Has collar gorgettes for Staff Colonel. Gilt rank for Colonel (QVC missing from L/H epaulette). Has two place ribbons for Egypt Medal and Khedives Star. Inside label removed/worn. Grade II- $550

5387 GB LOYAL SUFFOLK HUSSARS OFFICERS TUNIC. Patrol pattern d/green material with chain epaulettes with KC Major rank in brass, collar with gold bullion braid, gilt collar badges (dulled), KC buttons. Cotton lining, tailors label of 'F A Stone of Norwick'. Named to 'E E Revill-Davies' and dated 14/6/39. O/a light wear and stitching brakes o/w Grade II- $250

5388 GB WW2 BATTLEDRESS BLOUSE 1940 PATT. SIZE No 7. Dated 1945. Light service wear and a couple of field repairs to back, L/H shoulder and belt strap. Has all buttons. KD lining. Has Africa Star ribbon with 8th Army clasp added. O/a a nice example of a hard to find item. Grade II- $125

5389 GB WW2 REPRO GLIDER PILOT REGT. BATTLEDRESS TUNIC. Size 36" to 37" Chest and for 5'6" Tall. ie: small/medium build. Comes complete with "Glider Pilot Regt" Shoulder Titles, 'Airborne' Titles and 'Pegasus' Titles. Also Pilot Wings sewn to left chest. Good repro. for the re-anactor. Grade II+ $175

5390 GB WWI OFFICER'S SERVICE DRESS TUNIC. With early style cuff rank of 2nd Lietuenant. Lancashire Fusiliers. Small tag to the neck area stating "N.R. Lloyd 7th Lancashire Fus.". Collar badges removed, but small "T" devices still present (territorial). Brass buttons throughout (showing wear to high points). Mothing evident to collar, chest and waist areas, also shoulder and small amounts to sleeve, some moth grazing. Very scarce. $850*

5391 GB WW2 RN FLEET AIR ARM FIGHTER ACE COMMODORE CHARLES LINDSEY KEIGHLY-PEACH DSO, OBE. Double breasted RN officers reefer jacket with K/c bullion RN FAA pilots wings. Named on inside pocket, to keighly-peach. Eight place ribbon bar. Served meditranian flying carrier based aircrft. Five confirmed claims of downed Italian aircraft credited whilst flying sea gladiator N5517. C/w research notes. Grade II- $450

5392 GB 1930'S WW2. Royal Air Force, Air Commodore's Full Dress Tunic, Air Force blue wool tunic, stiff stand-up collar decorated with gold lace and gold wire, gold lace Air Commodore rank insignia on bottom part of both sleeves, gold and silver wire embroidered pilot wing, gold wire eagle and Tudor Crown on each shoulder, gold wire decoration around shoulder buttons, seven RAF gilt buttons. On inside collar at back is maker's label Hawkes & Co Ltd , 1 Savile Row W and written on label "Air Commodore JC Quinnell, 4/9/35". It comes with a Royal Air Force gold and light blue twisted wire aiguillette (ADC appointment). Fine to EF. C/W full dress belt with buckle & sword hanger. Air Commodore John Charles Quinnell was born 7th January 1891 and was educated at Royal School, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. He was commissioned in RA in 1914 and seconded to RFC in 1915 and was transferred to RAF in 1918. While serving in WW1 he was mentioned in dispatches and received a DFC as a Major, LG: 1/1/1919. During the wars he was at RAF Staff College in 1924, at Imperial Defence College in 1929, was AOC No 6 Auxiliary Group from 1935-38 and of No. 6 Group in 1939. In WWII he was Senior Air Staff Officer, Advance Air Striking Force from 1939-1940 (dispatches) he became AOC A Group RAF in 1942 and received a CB in 1943, retiring in 1945. $1450

5394 GB WW2 RAF Pilots Service Dress Tunic. Four pocket pattern with brass RAF buttons, comes with service dress waist belt and cuff insignia for Squadron Leader. Cloth embroidered King's Crown pilot wings on left breast as well as pin on ribbon bar for a Distinguished Flying Cross. Grade II. $450

Field grey wool with 2 x patch pockets to chest area & 2 x lower "Bellows" pockets, all with shallow scalloped flaps. 6 x grey pebbled alumin. buttons to front closure. 2 x grey plastic adjusting buttons to each cuff. Provision for detachable interior collar. Bevo woven Wehrmacht Breast Eagle above right pocket. Detachable NCO's shoulder straps with white piping for Infantry. Single Chevron to left sleeve for Rank of Gefreiter. Correct cotton drill lining with interior wound pocket. Small area of moth grazing to left sleeve, does not detract. Grade II- $1650

Fiel grey woolen tunic with seven grey painted brass stahlhelm design buttons to front. 2 x pleated breast pockets with scalloped flaps. 2 x lower concealed side pockets with straight edge flaps. 2 x grey painted belt ramps nad Stahlhelm button type belt ramps to reverse. French cuffs, steel closure hooks to collar. Dark grey rayon lining to interior of sleeves. Couple of small moth nips, one to lower right front. (Not noticable when tunic is buttoned up. O/a this tunic is in very good condition and unissued. Grade II $750

5397 GERM WW2 RAD EM's Tunic with a "Deutsche Wehrmacht" Armband to left sleeve. Earth brown woollen tunic with a dark brown collar. Four pleated patch pockets, each with a silver pebbled alum. button to each scalliped flap. Further reinforced with green thread. Four alum. belt ramp hooks to waistline with added interior cloth straps. (Not standard). Provision for detachable shoulder straps. Buttons missing from both cuffs. Light brown cotton partial lining to interior with wound pocket and "RAD" ink stamping. Couple of tears and wear around button holes. Tunic showing plenty of use and wear with repaired areas and a few small holes. Priced accordingly. Grade III+. $650

5398 GERM WW2 RAD EM'S 1935-1937 PATTERN TUNIC. Open-necked earth brown woolen tunic with a dark brown collar. Two pleated breast pockets. With buttoned straight edged flaps. two concealed hip pockets with slanted button flaps. Four buttoned front closure. Sawstika armband to upper left sleeve, an original armband which has been replaced. Russet -brown cotton lining with inner breast pocket. Has RAD distribution stamp & other faint markings. Some small tears to lining, majority having been repaired. This is the early type tunic which did not have shoulder straps or collar patches. C/W B/W photograph of RAD man in uniform. Grade II- $850

5399 GERM WW2 LUFTWAFFE FLEIGERBLUSE FOR AN UNTER OFFIZIER OF FLAK. Luftwaffe blue-grey woolen construction with four grey concealed plastic buttons to the front closure. Machine-embroidered 2nd pattern breat eagle. Loops for one award to the left breast. Two lower slanted hip pockets widh a grey pebbled aluminium button to each flap. Standard 2nd pattern machine embroided flak artillery insignia patch to the lower left sleeve. Inner wrist adjusting straps to each sleeve. Red twisted cord piping to the outer collar edge with an inner border of silver aluminium tresse. Red collar patches with a single aluminium gull to each one. Three grey plastic interior buttons to the collar for attaching the collar liner. Slip-on shoulder straps of luftwaffe blue-grey wool with silver aluminium tresse and red piping for flak. Blue-grey twill partial lining with two interior breast pockets and a wound pocket. Ink size stampings to inner left pocket with a Paris (France) maker and dated 1942. A lovely example with no mothing or any other damage. Grade II $2500

5400 GERM WW2 LUFTWAFFE PILOT'S FOUR POCKET S/D TUNIC. Fine L/W blue-grey tricot wool with pebble alum. buttons. A lovely officers quality silver bullion breast eagle (partially re-affixed) above the R/H breast pocket. Silver bullion piping around the collar. Collar tabs and shoulder boards for a Leutnant of Flights section. Full black silk-like lining and dagger hanger. Has tailors label. Named and dated 1939. Has one original provision for a breast award and another replaced as for the ribbon bar. O/A moth grazing and quite a number of field repairs. As such and possibly were repiared post war. In spite of this damage it is a good example of such a tunic as worn during the Battle of Britain. Priced accordinly. Grade III+ $1650

5401 GERM WW2 LUFTWAFFE SIGNALS OFFICERS FOUR POCKET S/D TUNIC. A very high quality tailors tunic in fine blue-grey trikot wool. W/M pebbled alum. buttons. Quality silver bullion officers breast eagle. Silver bullion piping around collar. Silver bullion shoulder straps and collar tabs on brown for rank of Major of signals. Full silk-like lining with no tailors label. Has provision for a long ribbon bar, two breast awards to L/H/S (one being screw back). R/H pocket also has provision for an award (Spanish Cross on German Cross). Included is a screw back war merit cross 1st class with swords. This is a very attractive tunic. It is very difficlut to obtain tunics with rank of Major and above. Grade II+ $2700

Embellishments include 3 tailored sergeants chevrons to each sleeve, field sewn insignia of the black watch to both sleeves with 2 red horizontal bars denoting 2nd infantry brigade. Soft 3 piece ribbon bar denoting 193-43 star, Italy Star (incorrect order) (The Africa Star numeral has been removed). A very interesting jacket. Grade II- $255

5430 GERM WW2 REVERSIBLE WINTER PARKA. Thick quilted cotton, chequered pattern. One side olive green with grey hood. Other side winter white. Large bakelite buttons on green side, white painted pebbled buttons on white side. Many field repairs to arms and cuffs. Shows lots of service wear and soiling, especially to white side. A nice combat example. Grade II-. $875

5431 GERM WW2 LUFTWAFFE RABBIT FUR LINER. Fur lined raw skin liner. 5 button front. Nice field repair to R/H shoulder. As worn over uniform and under Flight kit for added warmth. Waist measures about 38 inches. Scarce item. Grade II. $225

5432 GERM WW2 ARMY CAMOUFLAGE PARKA. Made from shelter quarter M1931 (Zeltbahn 31) material. Standard Army "splinter pattern" camouflage. Six black plastic buttons to the front closure, majority showing remnants of a camouflage painted finish. Two concealed, oblique, hip pockets, both with zip closures. Both zip ends have become unattached from their bottom runners. Grey rayon lining to the interior of the sleeve. Both cuffs with a black plastic fastening button. Parka shows service wear with some stitched repairs to the right sleeve. Grade II- $550*

5437 US WW2 G-1 USN LEATHER FLIGHT JACKET (GENUINE WW2 ISSUE) Size 40, has 'USN' stamped in silver on the underside of the rear collar, woolen cuff and waist bands (replaced in non-regulation style), leather is very good but much wear to fur collar, good lining, 'Opti' zipper working, makers tag is also well worn, o/a Grade II- $400

5440 AUST WW2 RAAF Dark blue greatcoat. 1944 dated. By V523. Small size. Missing two or three buttons. Minimal mothing. Grade II- $95

5441 AUST WW2 OFFICER'S GREATCOAT. Showing rank of Captain with 'Australia' shoulder titles (all oxy). Brass Australian military forces buttons have replaced most of the duperite buttons except for the 'tail' buttons used to fix the lower area to the rear if worn in an "Attack" (ie - Bardia, etc). Some mothing to inner liner. No makers marks or names. Grade II-. $95

5442 GB WWI MOUNTED PATTERN, DOUBLE BREASTED GREAT COAT. Made from khaki wool and fully lined with white wool. Has a split in the rear for use by mounted troops. The original makers label reads "great coat-mounted. Contact No 292/46/3 Size No5" Also appears to read "Compton, Sims & Web Ltd London." Overall good condition, no holes, tears or stains, only very slight mothing to the left hand sleeve. Grade II+ $1000*

5443 GERM WW2 ARMY GREAT COAT. Enlisted Ranks Patt. Field grey wool with mouse grey lining. Has detachable shoulder straps for Infantry Unter Offizier, with chain stitched '15' slip on devices. Very well marked with maker and sizing marks. Issue date '6/40'. One button on front detached but present. Nice example. Grade II- $950
