Evaluation of Previous Course

In evaluating the previous courses, the decision was taken to adopt a new course which could meet the needs of all colleges (those with different timetables structures, and those who need to meet the requirements of the International Baccalaureate History course).
This course draws on units from previous courses (Type 1 and Type 2) that have been deemed to be the most effective at delivering course goals.
The History Framework has been reviewed, and is still consistent with the requirements of this area of study.
The goals of previous courses were typically met. Teaching and learning strategies are effective in meeting the needs of students.
Articulation of units, refinement and updating of content has been undertaken.
