This St. Louis orchestra was named by the late Frank Trumbauer as the one with which he made his first records, but nothing has so far been found to substantiate this. Similarly, the Mound City Blue Blowers are said to have
appeared with this band, as they may have done on the stand, but not in the recording studio. The following records are of some interest as hot dance music, however.

This Californian bandleader and songwriter directed a number of sessions for Victor in the 1920s, of which the following have points of interest as jazz. Rose's ARC group of issues from 1930 to 1935 occasionally feature short solos of mild interest, but hitherto no positive identification has been made.
