Organizational structure will vary according to the size of a local church, the culture of the people, and the political environment in which the church is located. A congregation may get ideas for organizational structure and roles by looking at other successful churches in their area. The congregation or church planter should seek the Lord’s guidance in deciding what optional offices should be established in a particular church. It is important to apply some principles in deciding on the organization of a local church.
